Entry from: Kanchunaburi and Bangkok (part1), Thailand Entry Title: "The travels continue.........." Entry: "After another nausea inducing ride, Shana and I arrived in Kanchunaburi. Most well known for the Bridge over the River Kwai (which is apparently a really famous movie?) the small city felt like a large metropolitan after Sangklaburi. In our attempt to try every kind of interesting transportation Thailand has to offer, Shana and I, as well as our backpacks, ended up on the back of a bicycle rickshaw. While we offered to take two, the driver assured us he could handle it, so we spent the ride through town not admiring the sites but praying he didn't have a heart attack! Soon we arrived at our guest house, located on the serene Kwai river. We happily took hot showers (what a surprise) and then ventured out to explore the town. It felt funny to be around so many tourists after our last stop, but we were happy to enjoy fruit shakes and internet cafes. After a yummy Thai lunch and the end of a really bad movie at the guest house, we fell fast asleep. The next morning we were off to see Iriwan Waterfall, said to be the most beautiful waterfall in Thailand. We were told to give our selves about 2 hours to hike to the top of the seven tiered waterfall, and were then sent on our way. The lower levels were ...
